Rewrite history with SkinPen.
Rebuild your own collagen with this revolutionary microneedling treatment.
SkinPen® is the first FDA-cleared medical grade, state-of-the-art microneedling treatment. Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, works by making tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin to stimulate the skin’s natural wound healing process. The results are improved skin texture, the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, acne and scars on the face and body.
The skin’s natural wound healing process starts by increasing blood flow and creating new tissue. Next, your skin starts its repair process, rebuilding new cells and a new network of blood vessels. Finally, your skin replaces the tiny “micro” wounds with new dermal tissues. And, it works on all skin types
The SkinPen device is also full of extra safety features such as sterile, single-use cartridge and bio-sheath to prevent cross-contamination.
- First FDA cleared microneedling device
- 1600 micro-injuries per second
- Minimally invasive, minimal downtime
- Highly effective delivery mechanism for PRP
The micro-channels stay open for 20 hours, so it is important to follow post-procedure instructions to optimize your results. The radiant skin will become apparent as the deeper skin continues its healing process over several weeks. The best results typically require multiple treatments over a course of several months. You can increase the impact by adding on PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatments to your SkinPen Microneedling sessions.

The most common areas to treat are the face, neck chest and hands but SkinPen can be used on other parts of the body.
The treatment area may be numbed to ensure optimal comfort. Patients report feeling a slight vibration of the device during the procedure.
The number of treatments required will be determined based upon your individual goals and the overall health of your skin. For some minor imperfections, you may notice results immediately after undergoing a microneedling treatment. However, for more extensive imperfections like deep scars, multiple treatments are generally required. Many opt for a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart.
Most patients are able to resume all of their usual activities immediately. You may experience redness and mild swelling similar to a slight sunburn for 24 to 48 hours and there may be slight pinpoint bleeding and/or bruising. As with all medical procedures, it is important to follow post-procedure instructions to optimize both safety and results.
PRP is a powerful add-on procedure. Your own blood plasma is applied to your skin during the microneedling therapy. Because of the increased concentration of growth factors in PRP compared to whole blood, it can also speed up and enhance the skin’s natural healing process.
